UPCOMING EVENTS
On Saturday, May 2, Aurora Commons will be taking part in Seattle's Neighbor Day! Neighbors across Seattle will take time to connect; say hi, share a laugh, or do something kind. Just being human, showing up for each other.
We’d love to see you at the Commons from 10 am –12 pm for coffee, donuts, and a simple supply drive for our neighbors. This day of connection will provide a lasting impact to Aurora Commons' ability to show up every week for our community. We’ve had to scale back our food and program supplies lately, so every bit of support really helps.
If you’re stopping by, consider bringing one or more of these items:
New boxer briefs for men in sizes M, L, & XL
Bikini or boxer-style underwear for women in all sizes
Tampons and pads
Shelf-stable snacks like Cup-O-Noodles, instant oatmeal, or protein bars
Come by, grab a cup of coffee, and connect with neighbors. We’d love to have you.
PAST EVENTS
On March 7, Aurora Commons welcomed supporters, partners, and community members to Hangar 30 at Magnuson Park for our 12th Annual Aurora Means Dawn benefit.
It was an evening rooted in connection, generosity, and shared commitment to building a place of belonging for our neighbors.
Throughout the night, guests heard directly from neighbors, staff, and volunteers, and were invited into a deeper understanding of the relationships at the heart of Aurora Commons. A special program video highlighted these stories, reflecting the care, trust, and community that make this work possible.
Together, we raised $205,212 to support Aurora Commons’ mission to cultivate community and belonging, fostering health and healing among neighbors experiencing homelessness and poverty.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us, gave generously, and helped make the evening so meaningful. Your support ensures that Aurora Commons remains a place of dignity, connection, and care.
An Evening of Connection and Collective Generosity
A festive morning of joy, connection, and holiday cheer at Aurora Commons. Our annual Christmas Party is a beloved tradition where neighbors, staff, and community members come together to share a meal, celebrate, and co-create a sense of belonging for all.
Event Highlights:
Brunch buffet with warm, comforting favorites
Visit from Santa and festive surprises
Music, laughter, and community joy
For many of our neighbors, this is their only opportunity to celebrate with others. Your participation, whether volunteering or donating, ensures that everyone can feel the warmth and joy of the season.
